Day Of Mindfulness, Saturday Feb 8, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Friends on the Path: The Engaged Spirituality of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Thich Nhat Hanh. Led by Jack Lawlor, Senior Dharma Teacher in the Plum Village Tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh

Held at Schoolhouse at Simply Dunn,  Downsville, Wisconsin (https://www.simply-dunn.com/) Organized by Red Cedar Buddha Sangha, Downsville, WI


Details: Arrive between 8:15 Am and 8:45 AM. DOM from 9:AM.- 3:30 PM. Bring a bag lunch. Tea provided. The day will include sitting, indoor and outdoor walking meditation, a Dharma talk by Jack, mindful stillness.

Five Mindfulness Trainings: There will  be an opportunity to take the vow of the Five Mindfulness Trainings.  If you are considering this, please contact Marion Lang –  marionlang@charter.net

$25 registration is payable the day of the event. Please bring correct change or a check made out to Simply Dunn. Scholarships available.

Dana – There will also be a Dana Basket (donations for the teacher). Since Jack does not accept dana, he asks that we send dana to a cause he suggests (in past, helping Rohingya refugees)
